FHE Series- Plan of Salvation Lesson Plan

We hope you enjoyed our very first FHE lesson as much as we did! Our kids all loved it even more than we did. It took the stress out of Monday night for us, and that is a win in our books!

This next lesson is on the Plan of Salvation.

This lesson, like our Child of God lesson, is meant to be short and sweet. We are covering the very basics of the Plan of Salvation.

This topic can tend to get into really deep doctrine. We have decided to keep it on the lighter side as our children are all young. Feel free to go as deep into the doctrine as you would like with your family.

​Our intentions are to help the spirit to be present and for all to testify and bear witness as you discuss these topics. We believe this is an ideal setting to teach our children these wonderful gospel principles. 

As with our Child of God lesson, there is a file you can download with 6 stars to cut out. We use our stars with a fishing game (find it here). Another great way to structure your lesson is to cut out each star and assign one to each family member. Another great idea is to cut out each star and put them in a bowl, allowing each family member to take a turn drawing a star from the bowl and answering the question.

If you choose not to use this extra with your lesson, draw out the plan of salvation with your kids when you get to the star that tells you to "review the plan of salvation".
