Okay lets talk canker sores. I think I have typed "how to heal a canker sore" or "how to prevent canker sores" more times than I can count. It seems like I ALWAYS have one. Always. The second I get rid of one, another has formed. It is rare that I just have one at a time too. I usually have a minimum of two at a time. I've even had up to 8 at one time! If you are like me, then you get desperate when you have a canker. I get crabby and feel like I can't even talk. I even get swollen lymph nodes if they are really big.
I got these cute windows for free off of craigslist. I am on the chalkboard bandwagon bad right now, so naturally I wanted to make these beauties into chalkboards! I also wanted to make a simple chalkboard. This is as simple as it gets!
The second I laid my eyes on a plethora of big wood tile crates, I knew I wanted one for a coffee table! Fast forward a few months and this obsession never left. I was too chicken to ask the tile store if they were up for grabs.....insert my amazing friend Mikaela- she did the dirty work and called the store. They gave us free reign on any and all crates behind their store! If you love this table as much as me, don't be a chicken like me and call your local tile store or Home Depot!
**We do not sell stencils, thanks for reading!
I completely decorated and furnished my children's bedroom for under $100. How is this even possible? A little work and my favorite new tool....Craiglist. The free section on Craigslist is my new Facebook. I kid you not. I spend no time on social media, and all of my time on Craiglist hunting out my next project.
Well its been a bit since I've given you an update on our kitchen! So many changes and I know you've just been on the edge of your seat waiting for this post! (wink wink). If you haven't been following this transformation, check out my first post so you can get a feel for the kitchen before we started the transformation! You can find that post here!
Here are a few things we were wanting to tackle at the end of the first kitchen post. Some of them have changed so I'll go over all those dirty details!
New cabinet hardware
This is our kitchen after the floors, floating shelves, and cabinets were added.
If you need a delicious cookie to serve at your Halloween bash, give these a try! We combined two of our favorite recipes to bring you this one! They are so soft and yummy!
It's no secret that the Wolfley sisters love Swig! This recipe is sure to curb the craving and they are super easy to make! Why are Swig cookies so good? They are thick and soft sugar cookies...the best kind right?! This recipe is adapted from Everyday Jenny's recipe. Check out her blog! She has lots of great recipes and projects!!
There's something about a caramel goodness with coconut and pecans that will make your mouth water. My moms German Chocolate Frosting will get you every time! It's a super easy recipe and will make any amazing cake THAT much better (I totally use it with a boxed cake mix cake too... 😬🙊 don't tell Sadie!)
