Our mom can can anything- the stack of food she canned for each of her kids this fall is crazy! Peaches, pears, green beans, plum jelly, grape jelly, and the most recent- applesauce!
Fresh Pressed Apple Cider
The past few years our dad has been pressing his own Apple Cider and it is delicious!! Seriously, I'm hoping to find an ice chest big enough to sneak a few gallons back to Missouri! Here are a few pictures from Saturdays pressing!

Top Farmhouse Picks
The obsession I have with farmhouse decor isn't normal or healthy! I've always loved the rustic beat up stuff- maybe it has something to do with me being rough on the edges, but I love the character and stories behind imperfect pieces. Here you'll find a few things that I swoon over!!
When I tell you Oliver is obsessed with Chobani yogurt, I am not exaggerating even one bit, He is literally obsessed! He would ask for me no-gurt (yogurt) and I would pull out a gogurt, and he would say NO, and pull out one of my Chobani Flips. The kid can hear me open one from a mile away. I am pretty in love with the stuff too so I understand his obsession. My favorite flavor is the chocolate almond coconut. Every combo I have tried is good, but that is my first choice, They are a great little snack! Quick and easy to grab. They are my go-to when I don't want to cook anything for breakfast, or a nice afternoon pick me up. Not only are they delicious, but it's a great way to get some protein in your diet. I am not huge on meat, so I have to look to other sources for my protein. Next time you are on the yogurt aisle, give one of these bad boys a try.
Find the ugliest, most beat up piece of furniture you can find. Take a picture so you can remind yourself how amazing you are when you are finished.
DIY letters! Make your inexpensive paper letters look like metal!
I love metal letters! And have recently fallen in love with metal letters spelling EAT in the kitchen. I wanted big letters and didn't want to spend $20-$25 per letter....so I came up with a solution!
These planked signs are as easy as it gets! I wanted to create these to take up some wall space. I decided I'd paint the states we've lived in as a married couple!
Idaho (where I'm from and where Rex wishes he's from) is where we met! We lived there for 2 1/2 years. In 2012 we packed our little family up and headed to Ohio! I don't think there are many place more beautiful than Ohio-it will forever have a piece of my heart!
My hubby graduated from medical school in May and we are now in Missouri while he completes a 3 year surgical residency! So there you have it! This is why I have Idaho, Ohio, and Missouri hanging on my wall!
