This is possibly one of my favorite salads! If you aren't familiar with the BYU-Idaho catering department do yourself a favor and never start! They make the most incredible food! Seriously I haven't tried anything from there that I didn't love! So here's where the love affair started, my mom ordered from the catering department on several occasions for weddings and parties so the addiction began! I would call and place an order on Wednesday so it would be ready for Friday pickup before I headed back to Blackfoot for the weekend. I truly only did this a couple times and the order was always the same..... a 1/4 sheet cake (wedding cake, rosettes and all! haha) and either this delicious salad or a snickers salad (stay posted, recipe coming soon!) Seriously I hope you love this salad as much as I do!
Powder Room Makeover
Our sister Amanda painted this bathroom forever ago- she had it decorated super cute but she was ready for a change! Her husband Will is the bomb! He repainted their entire main floor and the Powder Room was the first area he tackled!
I'm feeling totally sick about this but I didn't get a great "before" shot of this basement bathroom! I hope you get an idea from what I do have! This bathroom is a bit weird- there's a door out to the garage from the family room and from this bathroom. The doorway from the bathroom is larger than the family room door so it's through the bathroom that we were able to move the big furniture in. So here's where it drives me crazy train- this bathroom doesn't have a sink. We talked about taking the door out and throwing a wall up so we could put one in, but then all furniture stays and nothing new can come in! So with that out there keep in mind that this is an all around weird bathroom! We didn't have a ton to work with but I think the overall look is 100% better!
Buffet Table Re-do
This beauty belonged to Sadie Rose until I begged her to give it to me! One day I'll give it back to her....maybe! This project was almost too easy! Follow these simple steps and you can get this same look!
These ugly things pretty much had no hope! I felt like anything I did would be an improvement
so here's what I did!
