I wanted to tackle this project months ago, but it got put on the back burner with all of the other house projects on the mile long "to do list!" My in-laws have a couple of barns on their land so we reclaimed some off the old wood, and the second I saw the old barn door I knew that was my tabletop......manure and all!
This project is as easy as it gets! It's practical too, so that makes it even better!
We've got a fun Father's Day gift idea for you today! Rex fell in love with smoking meat when we were in Medical School. It became a hobby for him. A major stress reliever! Rex is always up for having friends over or randomly dropping "smoked meat" off to friends! He literally bears his testimony to anyone and everyone that will listen......and has converted at least 8 of his friends to this hobby. Unfortunately, he has done the same with hunting, but the wives are MUCH happier with this extracurricular activity!! He's always asking me to mix up some rubs late at night while he preps the meat, so this year I'm giving us both a gift of rubs that are ready to go!
It's time for a house update!! This was a small update with a big punch! If you haven't seen the other two updates to the kitchenette you can see them here!
Man we love fruit pizza so much. Too much probably. If you've never had fruit pizza before, allow me to tell you a little bit about it. A thick sugar cookie crust, smooth cream cheese topping, and fresh fruit on top of that. Seriously so good...no words!
I know this combination may sound funky.....but you need to give it a try! Even if you aren't a Dr. Pepper fan, you should still try it!
My love affair with Cafe Rio started when my three older siblings lived in Utah for college. I was terrified the first couple of times I went because the line workers talked so fast!! The panic was all worth it once you were able to attack the massive burrito!
When I was in grade school, a friend and I would make chocolate waffles all of the time. I loved them, and have been searching for a recipe that tasted similar. I have finally found it! These waffles taste like a buttery, fluffy chocolate cake. SO good!!
It is no secret that Cassie and I LOVE sharing our favorite products with you guys right? Speaking of secrets, do you know how much both of our husbands are involved in our projects here? They are the very backbone of most everything we do here at Clover Lane, so when I had the opportunity to give David a handmade STUNNING wooden watch, I jumped at the chance.
Welcome to Clover
Lane!! We are Cassie & Sadie and this is
our fun little creative outlet. We are sisters and we seriously live to eat, and love to
laugh and craft! We
are so glad you have joined us!
