Tissue Paper Tassels
Pick your theme- As mentioned earlier I'm making these tassels for St. Patrick's Day and
a "Great To Be 8" Baptism Preview for church.
Fold your tissue paper in half the in half again so you have a square. I used 20" x 20" paper so it measured 10" x 10"
Cut strips leaving 1- 1 1/2" at the top.
Open the tassel so it's 10" x 20".
Begin rolling the tissue paper.
Pull up two sets of tissue strips (this will be the piece that you'll thread the string or ribbon through.)
Next you'll hold the strips at the base with your right hand and twist with your left hand (I'm right
handed so this is whats comfortable for me) then fold down creating a loop and finish with a
piece of scotch tape!
Then finish rolling the tassel and finish with a piece of scotch tape!
Fluff the tassel and you're done!!
